Jessica Valenti is a self admitted feminist and woman’s rights advocate. Valenti now has become a public figure and the opinions of others toward her views can now be expressed without concerns legal pursuits for criticizing a private citizen. Growing ever so popular in the feminist community, Valenti is making the rounds on public forums, online communities, media news and television. Valenti in some regard has been admonished by older feminists as being juvenile or not academic enough to be a true feminists. However, she has made her in road with the younger and more impressionable (girls under 13) Women with her cavalier colorful metaphors and four letter words.
Women are constantly looked upon by the physical attributes more often than their intellectualism by men. More specifically, considering Valenti is very easy on the male eyes, would anyone take her seriously if she were an unattractive, over weight and homely woman? I think her in roads that she has made has a lot to do with her physical attributes combined with her quick sarcastic wit and sexy smile. Now we can understand why a lot of young pretty girls get on online community media and claim to have a bone to pick with the male Sex (pun intended). It seems to be a great way for a girl starved for attention to obtain attention.
Valenti normally starts off her Youtube stump speeches with a blast of colorful metaphors and then states the topic of her political disgust against men. When you are seen to spew foul language in the guise of women’s rights against men and come off cool and hip to your base supporters who can not vote, of course you will have emails coming to you stating how much you rock. No one wants their daughters to curse, display lewd behavior or have an abortion so why does Valenti have such animosity toward men or even more so, women who share the same values as family men?
Valenti’s frustration with the so called male dominated institutions of the United States are clearly over exaggerated by glib examples of what she thinks is rampant in our society. Feminism is nothing more than an over representation of the 80 / 20 rule and the use of anecdotal evidence to represent that all men run around grinding their sexual organs on unwilling females, and if they are not physically doing it they are thinking about it. In my opinion, Valenti like all feminists over exaggerate some form of disenfranchisement they experienced in life and write it off that all men have done it and women should wake up and feel the same way as they do.
Guys Love getting a reaction our of people especially self righteous female. Feminists like Valenti then uses their so called hate mail to make their case against “all” men. She uses the tomfoolery of these guys antics as the overall proof of mans oppressive agenda and antiquates these shenanigans as her scientific weighs and means of male behavior toward politically inclined women. What Valenti probably realizes but would rather use to champion her views, is that men like to get a reaction out of things especially someone who takes its so offensively. So when a guy makes a Youtube video mocking Valenti instead of her realizing that most of her videos are the same thing, she chooses to make her case and point with the toilet humor that is intentional thrown at her by guys trying to be funny and succeeding at agitating her.
It is very typical of a self righteous feminist to assume that anything sexual a woman does that she is being forced to by the expectations of a man. Valenti stated on the Stephen Colbert Report, that she has a hard time believing women would “flash their boobs for their own pleasure”, referring to the Girls Gone Wild videos. Women flash their boobs for attention to their much need self esteem. More specifically, they flash for the attention of men, because overall women like men and men like women and they both like sex with each other. This is not an outdated practice by ancient humans, it is an instinct that humans are born with the desire to do.
The truth is feminists want to control the behavior and actions of other women to fit their mold and agenda. This is hypocritical if the feminists are accusing men of the same thing is it not? The enemies to feminists are the very women who like men and think that complaining about how unfair society is over exaggerated. Valenti is fond of saying, “Most women are feminists they just don’t know it yet”. I heard date rapists on a MSNBC special say the same thing about wanting sex with them and that’s why they forced themselves on the woman who didn’t exactly say no until after it was over with. There is no difference figuratively with this sense of radical feminism and the patriarchic behavior of male chauvinists. In point of fact, feminism is a join us now or die theology and there can be no in between if you want to just be a “regular” woman.
The truth about society can be found in the middle of the road by looking left and right before crossing the street. No sense of radicalism can be argued to be the total absolute truth in defining any one group of behaviors or people. More over, Valenti and other “feminists” are making a monolithic claim concerning man’s overt attempt to silence women in all aspects of human rights in defiance of equality. We have come a long way and Valenti was born after the war was over and won by equality for all. Women have rights, women have choices, those who are upset with their plight in life can be attributed to a multi causal explanation of their own choices and not the sole monolithic cause of man’s collective effort to oppress women.

Abortion is not a woman’s right of passage regardless of having the right to choose or not. Abortion is seen as a religion to these feminists because abortions are regulated by law and by law they mean man. I refuse to believe that any parent, or feminist for that matter want their daughters to get pregnant on purpose to have an abortion. Yet they argue that the laws regulating abortion is really man controlling a woman’s reproductive organs.
Does standing in front of a Planned Parenthood building show how much of a feminist you are by allowing yourself to be dominated and impregnated by a man who made you his conquest of many? I didn't think that was feminism. I thought feminists hate the male sexual organs and would have nothing to do with them. However, all these feminists love having abortions or rather champion other women when they have an abortion. Maybe the hate comes from man being the catalyst in pregnancy and they are trying to erase man's contribution in reproduction by worshiping the right to have an abortion.
The issue is neither a gender issue nor a political one in my opinion concerning the feelings on abortion. There are plenty of women who do not agree with abortion and who are not feminists. However, these women are labeled as not being a real woman if you disagree with abortion let alone the mold of feminism. The analogy is the same as a black republican being a called an uncle tom because he is not a democrat and therefore can not be counted among true blacks. The same goes with feminists and woman who disagree with their theology.

In response to this rant of Valenti I can not mention how anecdotal her accusation is. Guys are always going to go after a girl who pretends that gender doesn't matter. Moreover, women need men and men need women. Also, there is nothing wrong with a cheap argument if it bears fruit. However, her comment about the guys who misspell their insults or get their grammar wrong was hilarious on her part. I think she is really smart, hot, but pissed off at some failure on her part in life and man seems to be the easiest thing to blame instead of taking personally responsibility for your own actions.
I do believe in a lot of her observations about guys but those observations are so obvious. Valenti said herself that her following of feminists are younger girls fitting the age of what we guys would call " Jailbait". To the point, most of the guys leaving lewd comments are the same age. In point of fact, that is probably wrong, but I can use anecdotal evidence to label the mainstream too.
Jessica has found her niche and is using gender as a business. In America, if you think you are a victim you can make money off it. I think it's genius and a great way to prank society and make a living off it. I seriously doubt any rational human being believes American women are shackled to the will and dominance of their male counter parts. Her website is called FEMINISITING and its put together in a decent manner but very cluttered with all the buy me now products. I totally understand the market to sell merchandise but she is not a sell out to feminism she just bought in and now like her older feminists before her, she is making a living off the female gender.

The feministing logo is unconscious hypocrisy which is prevalent in all Neo Feminists. For example, the logo is a silhouette of a obviously young and attractive woman with full sexual maturity ever present. If Valenti choose this image she did so in my opinion, on the fact that sex sells. However, the labeled portions of the image above convey every attribute that true feminists hate. You can argue that the logo is a symbol of woman but why not use the gender symbol instead of a hot babe?
Word to the wise, I would not seriously try to debate this girl. She is very quick and uses personal anecdotes as facts. Trying to debate reality or rationality with Ms Valenti would be in my opinion impossible. There is no doubt she is intelligent but her mind and reality has already been made by her own creation. You will not be able to tell her that its not as bad as she wants it to be but in order to make a living off it and obtain repeat customers she has to keep railing on it getting worse. Let's face it, feminism is a business just like all the ism's.
